Facebook Friends Didn’t Leave Your Business Page, They Were Possibly Never There

As of Thursday, Facebook made further changes which affect business pages, though this time around, the change may be for the better. Their aim is to not include in your “liked” count certain likes that came from pages deemed inactive, such as memorial page for someone who may indeed have been a fan of your store, but on which no new material is being posted.

So if you noticed a drop in business friends yesterday, it was probably due to the removal of a few names which were not engaging with your page in the first place.
