LifeWay Keeps B&H Publishing Banner, Combines it with LifeWay Resources

B&HYou’ll continue to see the familiar B&H (formerly Broadman & Holman) imprint on its trade books, but organizationally, the division will be combined with LifeWay Church Resources into a single corporate unit, with the retail division continuing to operate as a separate unit.

In Spring 2013, the company announced it was winding down its B&H Fiction imprint — only publishing novels that were connected to other existing brands — and would focus its energies on non-fiction titles.

LifeWay is established as a non-profit, and receives no direct funding from the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) but with historical ties, and revenue directed to SBC missions projects, the company is seen as an arm of the SBC, a denomination that has seen seven straight years of decline.
